This morning's mass was celebrated at a church whose patron saint means "Worshiper of God" in Hebrew and her feast day is November 16th. Saint Elizabeth of Hungary was born into a life of riches and privilege but lived a life of simplicity, generosity and great faith. She was inspired by the life of St. Francis of Assisi and cared for the sick and established a hospice for the poor.
