It’s here, Easter Sunday — But Easter is a season, not just a day; forty days, not just one! Certain holidays, such as Easter, are so special that I must return home to my church family. Today’s pilgrimage brought me to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church • 65 East 500 North • Orem, Utah 84057 • Phone: (801) 221-0750 • www.oremstfrancis.org . One of the little known facts about me is that my confirmation name is “Francis” and my Patron Saint is St. Francis of Assisi. I’ve always been drawn to him throughout the stages of my life. Perhaps I could write a small book on the reasons why and the similarities we have, but that will have to be another time.
St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is a very large community of a many walks of life. Most of the parishioners are Spanish speaking. We have two Priests: Fr. Dave Bittmenn, Fr. Jose Rausseo and Deacon Moises Ruiz. Mass is celebrated in a huge church that seats about 1100 parishioners. Upon entering the church into the foyer is a large etched labyrinth, a spiritual
