The walls of the Notre Dame de Lourdes are adorned with incredible stained glass windows and beautiful Stations of the Cross. The altar and backdrop behind the crucifix are of old wood planks which made me feel that this church served workers and down home people. (Sometimes I get feelings that I cannot shake and that relationship between the wood plans and the parishioners was one of them. If I am wrong, please let me know and I will correct the problem.) The same type of wood planks surround the Baptismal Font which is located to the right of the altar with an Omega stained glass window behind. The left of the altar is the Alpha stained glass window and the Tabernacle area along with two candles burning.
The people of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church are welcoming and I received many smiles. I wish to thank the parishioners for making this pilgrim feel welcomed. May you always be given God's graces and greet others with warm smiles too.
