It was such a blessing to see that Martin Luther King, Jr. Day was commemorated by people of many faiths praying together for a common cause, to put a stop to racism.
Hundreds of people gathered together on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 7PM. There was a Prayer & Action for an End to Racism at Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Salt Lake City. The Interfaith Prayer Service was with Pastor Steve Klemz of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bishop Oscar A. Solis of the Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City, Pastor Jerrod Lowry of Community of Grace Presbyterian Church, Pastor Curtis Price of First Baptist Church and Bishop Scott B. Hayashi of the Episcopal Diocese of Utah.
