I have been experiencing something new to me during mass lately that I'd like to share. When the priest is saying the Liturgy of the Eucharist, I've felt a sense of blessing, holiness and intense spirituality. Almost as if I were there at the altar with the priest and watching it for the first time with an honor to be there. As I stood in line to receive the Eucharist, I wanted to say, "Oh thank you so much, Amen", but didn't out-loud.
I sure hope this makes sense, because it is new for me and such an intensity of feeling. If you have felt anything similar, let me know please.
